PFFA Accreditation

PFFA will introduce a graded accreditation scheme which will enable them to transition over the coming years to a more natural, nature friendly way of feeding the nation without harming the environment.

PFFA will introduce a graded accreditation scheme which will enable them to transition over the coming years to a more natural, nature friendly way of feeding the nation without harming the environment.

  1. Farmers will be encouraged to move away from the mono crop, single product form of farming which has lead to farmers having only one outlet for their product.
  2. PFFA will encourage Farmers to adopt what was known as the Norfolk rotation scheme rotating their grazing animals with crop production.
  3. PFFA will encourage Farmers to produce for their local communities – feeding their neighbours.
  4. PFFA will encourage Farmers to work with nature rather than against it.

The Accreditation will have separate sections for:-

  • Arable Production
  • Horticulture
  • Livestock Production.

PFFA Accreditation will be designed to support Farmers & Growers rather than direct their activities. It will be based on Common Sense and will be designed to make accreditation achievable for all Farmers & Growers without the need for a massive bureaucracy. PFFA will ensure a graded approach so all farmers can be involved, even at the beginning of their transition.
