  • Our very own incredible Sam Williams is our resident veggie growing expert. She will be teaching you all her tips and tricks.

    Here’s a little snippet from Sam’s bio:

    “I’ve been growing food for 18 years and taught myself about growing food all year round when I had an allotment for 7 years.

    I currently work as an outdoor learning instructor running 2 big allotment style gardens with young adults with special needs.”

  • Workshops are held online via Zoom on the last Tuesday of the month. A recording of the session will be sent out if you’re unavailable to join us live.

  • You can choose from three different monthly donation amounts (£5-£15) to support Sam and the PFFA. Regardless of the amount you choose to donate, you will receive the same benefits and access.

    As a side note: We believe everyone should have the opportunity to grow their own! If you’re facing financial challenges and feel that our membership isn’t within your budget right now, we’re here to help. Please email us at info@the-pffa.org and let us know what you can afford (even if it’s nothing). We’ll work with you to provide a discounted or free place—no questions asked. Your well-being and access to this community are what matter most.

  • Discover how to build your home natural medicine kit.

    The PFFA are excited to collaborate with the delightful Deborah Syrett who will introduce you to the world of herbalism and share her own knowledge so that you can build your own apothecary of homemade remedies and medicines for first aid and general health for you and your family.

  • Deborah Syrett Medical Herbalist, BSc (Hons), Natural Health Teacher

    Deborah will use her vast knowledge and beautiful personality to introduce you the importance in herbalism, basic botany, harvesting, herbal preparations and miscellaneous materials used to make your own herbal medicine.

  • Workshops are held online via Zoom on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. A recording of the session will be sent out if you’re unavailable to join us live.

  • You can choose from three different monthly donation amounts (£10-£20) to support Deborah and the PFFA. Regardless of the amount you choose to donate, you will receive the same benefits and access.

    Join us on this adventure and discover how to cook, can, pickle, ferment and preserve your own food to become more self sufficient. Discover how to embrace the skills our grandmothers used to cultivate independence and emotional wellbeing in our ever-changing world.

  • Introducing your expert, Penny Foxwell.

    The PFFA are excited to collaborate with the inspirational Penny Foxwell who after a life-changing event in 2010, transformed farmland near Hastings into a thriving plot. She discovered the healing power of growing, cooking, and preserving her own food, and now she’s eager to share her journey and tips with you!
